Dressing Avery Fall/Winter || The Style Cooperative

Rachel Brooks (the woman behind The Perfect Fall Bow Tie) has graciously added her designer touch to the Dressing Avery series and the result is everything I hoped it would be. Take a look at her outfit below and then head on over to her shop The Style Cooperative for some Holiday shopping.

When working on this fall/winter look, I wanted to create something that is both contemporary and quintessentially prep... in a baby sort of way. It's a great challenge, but there really are some great finds for infants out there. Going along the style lines of her proud papa, we've got plaids, a rich fall palette, and great texture. So here's what we've got:

I started with a plaid poplin shirtdress that is crisp for fall, and found a great navy cardigan with contrasting gold toned buttons to layer over the shirt. To keep warm with the dropping temperature outside, I chose a pair of baby denim leggings (I refuse to refer to a baby in "jeggings"... it's just wrong). This skinny jean style will fit well under the shirtdress, and be comfortable enough to move around in.

The baby moccasins are one of my favorite internet finds. They are handmade by a fellow blogger, and can be found on stylish celeb babies. To keep her warm, a great preppy winter beret in red/white pulls it all together.

When it's time to step outside, the London-based brand No Sugar Added has the perfect pink coat that will keep Avery styling in the elements.

Editor's Note: Check out her new collection of bow ties at  The Style Cooperative Shop. They make great stocking stuffers for Him and Her.
