 Charles M. Schultz

Charles Monroe Schulz (November 26, 1922 – February 12, 2000) was an American cartoonist, whose comic strip Peanuts is considered to be one of the most popular and influential in the history of the medium.

First strip: Oct. 2, 1950

  1. Honestly, I never really found Peanuts funny, but I do love the look of the early strips before Charles "found" the style that we're all familiar with. I also love the packaging that Seth did for the reprint volumes you pictured. Great stuff.

  2. Oh how I love the Peanuts!!! Just brings back so many memories. 60 minuties did a piece on Mr. Schultz a very humble and extraordinary neat man. What a gift he left us. Thank you for the reminder.
