Early 1960s model of the Lunar Excursion Module
I love seeing things go from concept to construction. So I was super excited when I came across the development of the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM), which ultimately helped Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin Jr, set foot on the moon on July 20, 1969.
