I'm very exciting about the upcoming movie "Where the Wild Things Are." I loved the book as a child and I love it even more as an adult because the main character Max, reminds me of my son, Alex. I can easily close my eyes and see Alex running around the house in a wolf costume chasing our dog. It's so Alex!!! This is probably the most comfortable sweatshirt that I've ever worn. I later purchased a pair of sweatpants that are equally as comfortable (but a little long) as the sweatshirt.

J.Crew is now selling vintage Rolex watches. I think the Air King is the perfect understatement watch. It's like buying a Audi.

Re-Sails

In the quest for a new carry on/duffle bag, I stumbled upon this store while walking around Annapolis. Although I only been sailing once, I instantly fell in love with the sea and all things associatied with it.

Resails is a company that recycles old sails into cool products such as bags, jackets, and other accessories.

I fell in love with The Black Dog store in 2000. It was my first trip to Martha's Vineyard and I wanted something to take home that could instantly give me the feeling of being on the island when I left. Well, as I walked around with my future wife, I noticed that a lot of people was wearing T-shirts with a Black Dog on the front and a year on the back. After some searching around, I found the store and instantly fell in love with the concept and the clothes. Now, I try to get something from the store every time I'm on the island. However, since I recently discovered a Black Dog store in Annapolis Md so I'm never too far from the island and never too far from a vaction.

p.s. I'm actually wearing a Black Dog hat in my profile picture.

New Ice Creams??

I have a pair of the first season of BBC/Ice Cream Board sneakers but I never saw these before. They have the Ice Cream Cone Man symbol of the back and the Running Dog on the side. These kicks are so cool.

Breaking the Rules

After seeing Andy Spade wearing a pair a desert shoes a few years ago, I decided to buy a pair from J.Crew last year. I always go sockless with my loafers but I never thought about going sockless with my desert shoes. Maybe I'll give it a shot on a warm fall day.
