Merit Clothing Line: Good Brand, Good Cause
Recently, I was introduced to David Merritt who decided to start a line as a way to not only find the type of clothing he wanted to wear but give to a worthy cause that's very important to him: education. From Ebbett Field Flannel hats to denim and woven shirts, all of his items are made in America and 20% of everything (not just profits) goes towards college scholarships. Merit is still in its funding stages so be sure to head on over to the site and contribute. Look good and do good, that's a win, win.

Video: Made Right Here
Made Right Here
My goodfriend Joe Gannon and his buddy Max (All Plaidout) made a trailer for their TV show Made Right Here. Joe hinted about it over breakfast a few months ago but words can not describe how great this idea is.
Check out the video for yourself.

True Wind Sailor Bag
From work to the wharf, I've been carrying my True Wind's Sailor Bag for a week now and I must say that I am really impressed. Durable, hand crafted in America and covered by a life-time warranty, this is definitely a bag that I will hand down to my son in the future.

Red Wing Wabasha Boat Shoes
Red Wing Boat Shoes
A few months ago, I did a post on my favorite boat shoes (alternatives to Sperry Topsiders) that are currently available on the market and now I want to add one more to the list: Red Wing Wabashas. Hand sewn in Wabasha, Minnesota with durable rich leather, these boat shoes could easily add that extra American touch to your ever growing Americana style. Available here.

Some of their toys are made outside of the U.S. so click here for a full list of their American made toys.
