So I went to my local J. Crew last night and saw this jacket and their vest version as well. I wasn't terribly interested in the jacket as I already own a similar one, but the vest looked good. The problem was the construction didn't justify the $120 price tag. The plastic zipper and frayed (!) lining just looked cheap.
ReplyDeleteWhen I can purchase a nice down vest from Filson for the same price, it's difficult to justify J. Crew product.
