First Look: LL Bean Maine Lodge Boots
While everyone is falling head over heels for the Signature line (and rightfully so), I've been keeping my eyes on LL Bean's main line and what they have arriving in stores this fall. And thanks to PR Guru Laurie Brooks, I've got my hands on a pair of boots that are sure to be a valuable addition to your ever growing LL Bean footwear collection this fall.
The Maine Lodge Boot will not be available until September, but take my word for it: these boots are super comfortable, very durable, and just plain old look good on your feet. My only critique is that I wish it was produced in Maine. But all was forgiven as I slipped my foot into this amazing boot and instantly felt the comfort of the padding.
Editor's note: I switched the laces to give the boot a more rugged feel.
Boots are now available.

Those boots sure do look like they're ready for action!
ReplyDeleteHmmm hubby might like these. Gotta wait for the catologue to arrive. I checked out the first fall one but nothing jumped out at me....tho it's hard to compete with last fall's birds eye sweater!
ReplyDeleteGreat call on the laces switch!
ReplyDeleteImported. Not US made. Sad.
ReplyDeleteAre those the cinnamon or the dark brown? I'm thinking cinnamon but it's hard to tell.
ReplyDelete@Taylor
ReplyDeleteCinnamon.
Do the boots come with two sets of laces?
ReplyDelete@James
ReplyDeleteNo, only the dark pair.
Skip: Do the Maine Lodge Boots fit true to size?
ReplyDeleteYes, they are true to size. I usually wear a 9 in LL Bean shoes (bluchers, boat shoes) but I wear them without socks. When I received the Maine Lodge Boots they fit just like my 9s, but since I knew I would be wearing them with heavy socks...I went with a 9 1/2.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you score the laces?
ReplyDeleteI think I got them at a local shoe store but they sell that at Target, Sears, etc.
