The Perfect Moc
If you really know me, then you already know that I'm always in the search for a perfect something. Either the perfect hat, perfect jacket, or the perfect sunglasses. Well, now I can put to rest the search for the perfect shoe. I love LL bean and all things that come out of Maine (Go Sea Dogs). I fell in love with LL bean in college and the lover affair is still going strong with these Handsewn Blucher Moccasins.

US Rowing Sweatshirt
This is probably the most comfortable sweatshirt that I've ever worn. I later purchased a pair of sweatpants that are equally as comfortable (but a little long) as the sweatshirt.USRowing has a nice selection of shirts, hats, and accessories to satisfy any rowing fan.

Vintage Rolex-Air King
J.Crew is now selling vintage Rolex watches. I think the Air King is the perfect understatement watch. It's like buying a Audi.

In the quest for a new carry on/duffle bag, I stumbled upon this store while walking around Annapolis. Although I only been sailing once, I instantly fell in love with the sea and all things associatied with it.

U.S. Navy Jacket
If you know me well enough, then you know that I am obsessed with all things Navy. I almost went to the Naval Academy out of high school and I always come home with some sort of Navy gear when we drive down to Annapolis. Well, maybe one day I can score the cool U.S. Navy Jacket from J.Crew's Men Store.

The Black Dog

Click above for the store
I fell in love with The Black Dog store in 2000. It was my first trip to Martha's Vineyard and I wanted something to take home that could instantly give me the feeling of being on the island when I left. Well, as I walked around with my future wife, I noticed that a lot of people was wearing T-shirts with a Black Dog on the front and a year on the back. After some searching around, I found the store and instantly fell in love with the concept and the clothes. Now, I try to get something from the store every time I'm on the island. However, since I recently discovered a Black Dog store in Annapolis Md so I'm never too far from the island and never too far from a vaction.
p.s. I'm actually wearing a Black Dog hat in my profile picture.
New Ice Creams??
I have a pair of the first season of BBC/Ice Cream Board sneakers but I never saw these before. They have the Ice Cream Cone Man symbol of the back and the Running Dog on the side. These kicks are so cool.
Breaking the Rules

After seeing Andy Spade wearing a pair a desert shoes a few years ago, I decided to buy a pair from J.Crew last year. I always go sockless with my loafers but I never thought about going sockless with my desert shoes. Maybe I'll give it a shot on a warm fall day.
Also check out Andy's 10 Essentials page.

The Official Preppy Handbook
Although I graduated from a private school, The Tatnall School, I totally denied my preppy style when I went off to college. When I arrived on my college campus, I wanted to separate myself from as far as I could from chinos and polos so I wore jeans and sports jerseys as often as I could. However, this phase didn't last long because before I knew it, I was wearing preppy gear again.

Peanuts Pop Art
Classic cartoon characters as pop art? I love it. Commissioned by Charles M. Schulz himself before he died, Tom Everhart puts a unique spin on our favorite peanuts characters.
Introduction
The purpose of this blog, named after my 1 year old son, is to have a place to showcase my favorite things. From preppy clothes to Ice Cream sneakers, my personal style is a combination of the old saying "Town and Gown." In the future, I will post on clothes, art, and accessories that interest me. And since I'm a big fan of Andy Spade, his style will be a big influence on this blog.
Basically, I want this site to feel as comfortable as the Jack Spade store (see New Yorker).
Kick back, relax, and enjoy!
