Rugby's University Fleece Toggle Coat

A great toggle coat will not only keep you warm but will help you stand out among the sea of pea coats that will definitely be abound this fall. My favorite one for the past few years has been the University Fleece Toggle Coat from Rugby because of it short length and superb details.

  • Four rope-and-toggle closures at the front. Hooded construction with detachable buttoned throat tab.
  • Single-button tab closures at the sewn cuffs. Even-sewn hem.
  • Patch pockets at the hips.
  • 100% cotton. Machine washable. Imported.

  1. Can't do it Skip. I have never been able get by the toggles and rope. Remnants from a bad childhood experience, I don't know. You are spot on with the "sea of peacoats" comment. I make up a piece of that ocean. EA Sports and Hickory Farms are the only companies not making a peacoat this season. Living in Nash, TN I don't have much need to wear it anyway.
    Yer still my boy, Skip.

LOL. I'm Mr. Peacoat myself but toggles will always have a special place in my heart: Paddington the Bear style.

  3. This makes me miss my toggle coat from college. Although, I adore the pea coat I now sport in the winter.
