Although Winter is officially over, I want to talk coats. As most of you already know, I have a fondness for outerwear; but the truth is (when push comes to shove), I usually grab for my Barbour or my Penfield Vassan when I quickly run out of the house. I was a little bit curious about my peer's "Go-To-Coats" so I posed the questions: What was your go to coat this past winter (The one that you always grab last minute) and why?
If you spent anytime outside last night, you might have noticed that the moon looked extra bright and extra close. And as the father of a son that loves all things involving the moon and outerspace, I made sure he witnessed this event before heading off to bed.
While flipping through the latest Harvard Magazine, I stumbled upon a picture of knit ties from the 50s with stripes that represented the major sports teams on campus. The article stated that back when ties and coats were required on Harvard's campus, varsity letterwinners were easily recognized by thier black knit ties with distinguished red stripes.
